Core Values

Our values are expressed in the following as we seek to multiply disciples to the glory of God: 

 

  1. Gospel Transformation – continually believing and applying the good news of the finished work of Jesus Christ on behalf of fallen humanity to the lives of men and women (Ps. 37:4, 119;  Romans 12:1; 1 Cor. 9:24-27; Gal. 5:22-24; Eph. 2:1-10; Col. 3:17; 1 Thes. 5:12-22; Heb. 12:1-2).

 

  1. Connected Living – developing deep, transparent, authentic relationships with others within the church for the purpose of mutual growth, encouragement, and care (Gen. 2:18; Prov. 1:7; Matt. 18; John 13:34, 17:21; 1 Cor. 5:9-13, 12:27; Gal. 6:2; Eph. 4:3, 5:1-27; Heb. 10:24-25; 1 John 1:6-7).

 

  1. Gift Utilization – stewarding all that God has entrusted to us to further His work in this world both inside and outside the church (Matt. 25:14-30; John 15:5-8; Rom. 12:6-8; Eph. 4:11-16; 1 Cor. 12, 14; 2 Cor. 8-9; 1 Tim. 4:14; 2 Tim. 1:6; Heb. 10:24-25).

 

  1. Missionary Engagement – following Christ into the world as we seek to display and declare the hope of the gospel (Matt. 9:36-38, 28:19-20; John 13:35; 1 Cor. 3:9, 4:1-2, 10:31; 2 Cor. 5:20, 6:1; Col. 3:17, 4:2-4; 1 Thes. 5:17).

 

  1. Church Multiplication – sending disciples into our city, nation, and world to make disciples and start churches (Gen. 12:1-3; Ps. 45-49; Is. 6; Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 12:28-31; Luke 10; Acts 1:8; Rom. 10:12-15; Eph. 2:19-22, 3:7-12, 4:11-16, 5:22-32; 2 Cor. 5:11-6:1).
