Renewal's Best Sermon Ever

Around Renewal we talk about multiplying disciples a good bit.  It is why we exist.

Periodically, God is gracious to allow us a glimpse into the fruits of multiplication.  Last week, we were blessed by God to be able to baptize our first four individuals who made public the work that God had done in their soul.   While baptism does not save anyone, it does paint a beautiful picture of the life giving reality of the gospel.

To make it even more meaningful, this baptism was done in partnership with another area church intent on loving and reaching our city.  We did it together to say to our world and our people that the gospel unites us all around the cross of Jesus.
 
    
 
These four individuals, two adults, one college student, and one child, were preaching an amazing sermon that night at a public YMCA.  They told the world that they had placed their faith in Jesus and trusted in His finished work on the cross.   Therefore, their sin was crucified with Jesus and they were made alive through His sacrifice.
