Sunday was a big day at Renewal! Most of our college crew was back with us after returning from holiday break, and we wrapped up our “Home for the Holidays” series. In addition, we began a new Study/Serve series and kicked off our latest three-week partnership class with 25 perspective new members. We continue to give thanks to God for all He is doing in and through our church each and every week.

If you’ve been with us through the holidays you’ll undoubtedly agree that we’ve learned a great deal about the character of God, our rightful response in worship, and how the Christmas season gives us numerous opportunities to reflect upon His character and what the gospel means in our individual families. Our journey through several of the Psalms has been tremendously profitable for us as individuals and as a church, and we’ve been able to worship together in praise and adoration for our Lord and Savior, King Jesus.

We kicked things off with our October membership class and Study/Serve, both of which met prior to our main gathering. We’re excited to have more than 20 people in this month’s class and look forward to having them connected with Renewal going forward.

We give thanks and glory to God for another great Sunday at Renewal. We were back in the main auditorium at Tech and were blessed to have several new visitors, a sweet time of worship, and a profitable time in the Word as Matt continued teaching through 1 John in our “Bound” series. If you couldn’t be with us, here are a few highlights:
