Don't We Already Have Enough Churches?

The most often asked question regarding church planting is “Why do we need more churches?” The basic assumption of most folks is that there are simply enough churches and if we would fill up the ones we have everything would be good. However, the reality is that this is not the case.

I have personally been highly motivated and challenged by the work of Tim Keller as he seeks to answer the question and prod church leaders to consider church planting. Below are the links to a foundational sermon by Keller on why the church must be about church planting over the coming years.
